FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
"What age can we take children?"
We can carry babies and toddlers but recommend the half hour fast bay trips
for the really young ones. All children however should be well wrapped up
as they particularly feel the wind chill from the boats speed across the water.
"What if I am unsure or worried about boats?"
We always travel across the bay at cruising speed at the start of each
trip. If you feel unhappy at this point we will return you to the pontoons
straight away. It is something we understand and wont make a fuss of.
"I have a medical condition, is it ok to sail?"
We carry disabled people, people in wheelchairs etc, but it's usually a
good idea to have a helper on board. In fact, one of our most memorable trips
was a group of blind and deaf children who gained so much from the sensation
of speed and movement offered by this sort of experience. The general rule
is to let us know in advance of specific problems and we shall do our best
to advise. However please note our insurers advise, “That unless there is
an act of negligence, that the decision to partake in the activity is that
of the client and by partaking they consent”.
